São Mamede Granfondo

The São Mamede Granfondo is a non-competitive road cycling event held in the Alto Alentejo region of Portugal, taking riders through the scenic landscapes of the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park. The 2026 edition offers three signposted routes — Granfondo (131 km), Mediofondo (90 km) and Minifondo (60 km) — all starting and finishing in nearby Castelo de Vide. The ride is open to amateur federated cyclists and non-federated riders aged 16 and over (14 for the Minifondo with parental consent), and is supported by several local municipalities together with the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth.
