Ruta BTT Ciudad del Corcho

The Ruta BTT Ciudad del Corcho is an annual mountain bike event organized by Club Ciclista La Catalina Sanvicentena in San Vicente de Alcantara, a cork-producing town in Badajoz province, Extremadura. The route starts at Parque de Espana and finishes at Plaza del Cristo, attracting riders from across Extremadura, Portugal and the rest of Spain through the dehesas and cork-oak forests of the area. Winners receive handcrafted cork bicycle trophies, with additional categories for fat-bike, e-bike and local riders.
