The Ruta de la Calor is a long-running BTT marathon held in Écija (Seville province), organised by C.C. Ciudad del Sol and forming part of the Circuito Provincial de Sevilla BTT Maratón. Set on the rolling Andalusian countryside around Écija and traditionally raced under intense early-summer heat, the event covers around 87 km with roughly 1,100 m of climbing on the long route. A shorter Ruta del Lagarto course is also offered for less experienced riders.
