SUMMARY:Basilicata Bike Trail Coast to Coast
DESCRIPTION:The Basilicata Bike Trail Coast to Coast is an unsupported bikepacking adventure that crosses the Italian region of Basilicata from the Ionian Sea to the Tyrrhenian Sea. The 2026 edition starts in Metaponto on the Ionian coast and finishes at Lido La Secca on the Tyrrhenian side\, traversing coastal plains\, the lunar calanchi badlands and the inland mountains over up to four days. Riders can choose a three- or four-day pace\, with indoor bivouac points provided roughly at one third and two thirds of the route. The event is organised by FIAB Potenza ciclOstile.
