DESCRIPTION:The Tour du Chaffaut is a local cyclotouring ride that loops around the village of Le Chaffaut-Saint-Jurson in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence\, just west of Digne-les-Bains. The 2026 edition is set for Sunday 27 September. Routes thread through the foothills of the southern French Alps\, climbing roads such as the Col de l'Espinouse and passing lavender fields\, Provençal villages and views over Digne-les-Bains. The event is aimed at recreational road cyclists who enjoy quiet mountain roads at the end of the summer season.
