SUMMARY:Zanzara Bike
DESCRIPTION:Zanzara Bike is a long-running evening MTB race held in Pomponesco\, in the province of Mantova\, Lombardy\, scheduled for 12 June 2026. Organised by the Zara Bikers Team and traditionally counting toward the BMB Races and River Marathon Cup circuits as well as the Mantova provincial MTB championships\, the format is a 40-minute-plus-one-lap race on a roughly 4.6 km circuit. The course starts in the town square and winds through the wooded floodplain of the river Po\, alternating fast open sections with technical singletrack. The late-day start gives the race its mosquito-themed name and a festive atmosphere.
