DESCRIPTION:El Camino is an unsupported ultra-distance gravel adventure that follows the historic Way of Saint James across northern Spain\, with the 2026 edition starting at 07:00 on 4 July 2026 from Pamplona. Riders have 85 hours to cover the 720 km\, almost entirely off-road route to Santiago de Compostela\, with online live tracking and a strict self-sufficiency rule. Organised by tarmacways.cc\, the event combines bikepacking endurance with the cultural landmarks of the Camino Francés\, crossing Navarra\, La Rioja\, Castilla y León and Galicia.
