DESCRIPTION:Monção e Melgaço Granfondo is a major Portuguese road cycling marathon held in the Minho region near the Spanish border\, in the heart of the Alvarinho wine country. Organised by Bikeservice\, the 2026 edition is scheduled for 20 September and offers three timed distances: Granfondo (around 124-130 km)\, Mediofondo (around 106 km) and Minifondo (around 75 km). The course climbs into the green Peneda-Gerês foothills before returning to Monção for the finish.
