Gravel is Mine

Gravel is Mine is a three-day gravel festival staged in the UNESCO-listed mining basin (Bassin minier) of northern France and Wallonia, with hubs around La Porte du Hainaut. The 2026 edition runs from 25 to 27 June and offers five formats: Gravel is Story (60 km), Gravel is Fun (100 km), Gravel is Cheeky (200 km), Gravel is Me (350 km solo) and Gravel is Epic (800 km across France and Belgium). Routes weave between slag heaps, bocage countryside and former colliery sites, blending sport, industrial heritage and sustainable tourism.
