Abruzzo Gravel

Abruzzo Gravel is an unsupported bikepacking adventure based in Popoli Terme (province of Pescara) in central Italy, with the 2026 edition running from 29 May to 2 June. Riders combine shared GPS tracks across the four Abruzzo provinces of L'Aquila, Pescara, Teramo and Chieti to design their own multi-day itinerary through the Apennines, between the Adriatic coast and the region's highest peaks. The format is open to gravel, MTB, road and e-MTB bikes, and there is no fixed daily distance or stage classification. A welcome kit is handed out at registration on 29 May at the Popoli Terme base.
