The Alps Divide Ultra is a self-supported, single-stage, mixed-terrain bikepacking challenge that runs from the Mediterranean Sea at Menton to Lake Geneva, weaving back and forth along the French, Italian and Swiss Alpine borders. The roughly 1,000 km route takes riders over high mountain passes, alpine pastures and historic military gravel roads, with around 32,000 m of total climbing. The 2026 edition starts at midday on Saturday 5 September from the Rosace de la Route des Grandes Alpes in Menton.
