Gran Fondo Città di Leonessa

Road cycling gran fondo based in Leonessa, in the province of Rieti, climbing into the Monte Terminillo massif of central Italy. Part of the Pedalatium circuit, the event is held in late August with an early morning start from the town and includes both the long gran fondo and a shorter medio fondo on the same course. The route is known for sustained high-altitude climbing in the Apennines.
