Gran Fondo Matera

The Gran Fondo Matera is a road-cycling event held in and around the UNESCO city of Matera in Basilicata on 18 October 2026. Routes wind through the hills surrounding the Sassi and pass municipalities of the Materano such as Miglionico, Grottole, Tricarico and Grassano. The event is run by the local amateur cycling movement under the FCI/UISP federations.
