Hunebed Highway Classic

The Hunebed Highway Classic is a charity cyclosportive in southeast Drenthe, organised by Stichting Goede Doelen Valthe with a start and finish in the village of Valthe. The 2026 edition offers partly updated routes of 65, 95, 125 and 155 km over quiet roads and cycle paths crossing the Nationaal Park Drentsche Aa and the Hondsrug ridge, including the famous Hunebed Highway between Coevorden and Zuidlaren. The event carries the NTFU 'Extra goed geregeld' label and proceeds go to KWF Kankerbestrijding and regional charitable causes.
