Markertoer

Markertoer is the oldest cycling tour organised by Le Champion, a Dutch sports event association, and reaches its 58th edition on 3 October 2026. The course winds through the peat meadow landscape north of Amsterdam, passing the historic towns of Edam and Volendam and crossing to the peninsula of Marken via the Zeedijk before returning to the mainland. The ride is a recreational, well-supported tour open to club and leisure cyclists looking to experience the IJsselmeer coast.
