Miriquidi Bike Challenge

The Miriquidi Bike Challenge is a mountain bike marathon held in Marienberg, in the Saxon Erzgebirge region of Germany. The event is part of the MTB Sachsen Cup series and offers three distances of approximately 30, 60 and 90 kilometres on technical, root-laden forest singletrack rather than wide gravel roads. The name 'Miriquidi' refers to the historic 'dark forest' of the Ore Mountains, and participant numbers are deliberately limited to preserve the character of the trails.
